International Trade Fair 2019-Bangkok

Bangkok :

With the precious collaboration of PIM University and Stenden Thailand, 7 European university colleges, all members of BUSINET ‘ the Higher Business Education Network’, organized a trade mission to Bangkok from 2 to 14 March 2019.

Belgian and Dutch students had to promote SME’s willing to export in Thailand. Altogether they represented 26 companies by contacting prospects on their behalf.

6 second-year Marketing students from Henallux-IESN Namur participated in that collaborative project and represented 2 companies from Wallonia : Vesale Pharma and Dim3.

Together with their Thaï counterparts who helped them penetrate the market, they operated as event managers during the mission. They had professional appointments, pitched their companies in English and did a lot of networking and prospection.

On Monday 11 March, they got really involved at the Trade Fair in presence of prestigious guests. In total, 26 European companies were represented at SPACES Empire Tower, a brand new co-working space in the Central Business District.

It was a good opportunity for them to develop cross cultural and international trading skills : a real integrated approach of the reality of today’ s business world !
